Job description

Chaberton Professionals is handling an exclusive search mandate for an experienced Store Director / Boutique Manager to lead a luxury retail boutique in Zurich.

 

As Store Director, you will be the face and driving force of the boutique, responsible for both commercial growth and operational excellence.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Client Development & Emotional Selling
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local Zurich clients.
    • Implement targeted strategies to grow the local client base and increase loyalty.
    • Organize and host exclusive in-store events and activations to engage clients emotionally and commercially.
    • Deliver personalized, memorable experiences for every client.
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ~12 staff members.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on client satisfaction and sales excellence.
    • Encourage the team to adopt a client-focused, emotionally engaging approach.
  • Sales & Commercial Performance
    • Drive boutique performance and exceed sales targets.
    • Identify growth opportunities through both proactive client engagement and local market knowledge.
    • Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to maximize results.
  • Operations, Back Office & Compliance
    • Oversee all back-office tasks, including administrative duties, reporting, and stock management.
    • Ensure full compliance with brand guidelines, operational standards, and luxury service expectations.
    • Maintain exceptional store presentation, merchandising standards, and operational efficiency.

 

Your Profile

 

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager / Boutique Director in luxury retail (fashion, watches, jewelry, or accessories).
  • Strong knowledge of emotional selling and experience in growing a local client base.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Native speaker of Swiss German or German, fluent in English; any additional language is a plus.
  • Charismatic, elegant, and naturally client-oriented, with a passion for delivering outstanding experiences.
