Job description
The Customer Service Specialist will be the key point of contact for clients and business partners within the flavours, fragrances and ingredients sector. The role will be responsible for managing the operational order process, providing customer support, and coordinating internally with logistics, quality, and sales teams, ensuring an excellent and timely service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the full order cycle: entry, monitoring, and confirmation to customers.
- Provide daily support to national and international customers regarding product availability, lead times, and technical and commercial documentation.
- Handle complaints, returns, and non-conformities in cooperation with the Quality department.
- Prepare and manage commercial documentation.
- Support the sales force with quotations, commercial offers, and updates on order status.
- Monitor service performance and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
- University degree or diploma preferably in economics languages.
- Professional experience (2–4 years) in customer service roles ideally within ingredients flavours or fragrance industry.
- Excellent command of French (written read spoken); knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office ERP systems SAP preferred).
- Basic knowledge of food/ingredients-related regulations (e.g., certifications export documentation) will be considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills customer orientation problem-solving ability team spirit.
