Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle & Top Management profiles, is currently looking for an Global Accounting Payable Manager for a prestigious international company in the Technology Industry.

Responsibilities:
- Enforce strict protocols for the creation, maintenance, and validation of all vendor master data.
- Meticulously verify crucial information such as banking details, tax IDs, and addresses to prevent fraud and ensure accurate payments.
- Lead data cleansing initiatives to remove duplicate or outdated records and ensure the vendor master data system is reliable and integrated with other financial systems.
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the global AP function, aligning with the company's goals.
- Standardize AP processes across all international locations to ensure consistency and compliance, respecting strict deadlines.
- Identify and follow opportunities for automation/process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee the entire payment cycle, guaranteeing the timely and accurate processing of invoices and the execution of payment runs.
- This includes the management and processing of payments for both vendors and payroll, ensuring all disbursements are made on schedule and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Implement robust controls to mitigate payment fraud and ensure all transactions are executed securely.
- Lead payment reconciliation activities to ensure cash outflows are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable.
- Experience in supervisory or management roles within complex international environments.
- Solid expertise in managing high-volume AP processes.
- Knowledge of basic treasury practices and procurement processes.
- Understanding of international VAT fundamentals and SOX compliance processes applied to AP.
- Familiarity with the use of various ERP systems (preferred) and productivity tools.
- High resilience and ability to manage stress effectively.
- Strong diplomacy, emotional intelligence, and ability to provide constructive pushback.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across diverse cultures.
- Problem-solving oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English.
