The Position

Mission

The Logistics & Supply Manager is responsible for managing the complete execution of the site's supply chain activities, from raw material procurement through production planning to finished goods shipment.

The position ensures that production is continuously supplied with the right materials, customer demand is translated into realistic production plans, inventory is optimized and logistics flows remain reliable despite a highly diversified manufacturing environment.

The role acts as the operational interface between suppliers, production, customer service and management, while guaranteeing data accuracy within SAP and supporting continuous improvement of planning and logistics processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Supply Management

• Manage procurement activities with approximately 30 active suppliers (60 total supplier base)
• Secure raw material availability while optimizing inventory levels
• Anticipate supply shortages and define mitigation actions
• Develop an appropriate supply strategy balancing customer demand, production constraints and stock levels
• Coordinate supplier performance and purchasing execution

Planning & Production Coordination

• Coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP / PIC-PDP)
• Translate customer demand into feasible production plans
• Act as the operational interface between production planning and customer requirements
• Monitor production execution in real time and ensure manufacturing priorities remain aligned with delivery commitments
• Improve work order (Manufacturing Orders) tracking throughout the production process

Logistics & Warehouse Operations

• Supervise inbound logistics, raw material warehouse, production supply and outbound shipments
• Coordinate receiving, storage, picking and shipping activities
• Manage transportation activities and delivery performance
• Optimize warehouse organization and material flows  
• Supervise inventories and stock accuracy

ERP & Data Management

• Guarantee master data accuracy within SAP
• Ensure inventory, planning and production data remain reliable and up to date
• Drive improvements in ERP utilization and production tracking
• Develop reporting and KPI dashboards using SAP, Excel and databases
• Support digitalization and continuous improvement of supply chain processes

Team Management

The position is expected to progressively evolve toward the leadership of a broader Supply Chain team including:

• Procurement
• Master Scheduling / Planning
• Raw Material Warehouse
• Shipping Warehouse
• Customer Service (Administration des Ventes)

The role requires developing team capabilities, improving collaboration between functions and implementing structured operating standards.

Operational Performance

• Monitor logistics, planning and inventory KPIs
• Improve delivery performance and customer service
• Optimize inventory turnover and working capital
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
• Support the site's operational excellence roadmap

Competencies

• Strong end-to-end Supply Chain knowledge (procurement, planning, logistics, warehouse, customer service)
• Strong experience in manufacturing environments with high product mix and operational complexity
• Advanced SAP expertise (mandatory)
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of production planning (PIC / PDP / S&OP)
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving industrial environment
• Hands-on leadership and strong cross-functional communication
• Continuous improvement mindset

Background

• Engineering degree or Supply Chain / Logistics degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5)
• Around 8-10 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning leadership roles
• Manufacturing experience is mandatory
• Automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 experience is appreciated but not mandatory
• Candidates from FMCG, food processing, e-commerce, industrial manufacturing or similarly demanding operational environments will also be considered
• Experience managing high SKU complexity and fast operational flows
• English level B2 minimum (mandatory)
