Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible of Sales, Marketing and Revenue department.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

  • To lead the commercial team in development, planning, and execution of a well thought plan;
  • Identify proactively pursue revenue maximisation for the hotel within the Revenue Management function for all revenue streams.
  • Consider how actions, objectives, goals, and achievements are shared in a timely manner to ensure all key stakeholders are engaged.
  • Through adept leadership of the team, ensure the very best, highly motivated and engaged talent is deployed and developed to meet the business objectives.
  • Have a balanced approach to business priorities, including team, commerciality, efficiency and responsibility.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to add top line value to the hotels’ performance.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all commercial forecasting, reporting, analysis, and evaluation of hotel performance in all Commercial KPI’s.
  • Direct the teams in identifying areas of risk & opportunity and ensure they are acted on in a timely manner.
  • Own the Commercial strategies for the hotels ensuring all opportunities are realised.
  • Identify business needs and opportunity and engage the relevant team to address.
  • Carry out project planning, feasibility and ad-hoc project-work as required.
  • Develop and drive the strategic commercial plans and budgets for the hotel.
  • Analyse financial information and cascade strategic direction to the team to drive optimal revenue results.
  • Effectively communicate the Commercial plans, performance, and results to all key stakeholders, to include the direct team and wider teams.
  • Relentlessly identify areas of opportunity within Sales, Marketing and Revenue that add top-line value to the hotel.
  • Provide reporting & analytics as required by the business.
  • Create, implement, drive, and maintain defined commercial ways of working, tools, and best practise throughout all top line areas.
  • Involve the whole team in improving Commercial performance; communicate the monthly actions planned by the Team to all departments.
  • Analyse overall monthly performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Oversee/audit the standards of operation of the commercial experts in the hotel.
  • Engage the teams to deliver the top-line budgets for the hotel.
  • Challenge and drive the performance of the Iconic brand to the hotel.

 

 

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum two years of experience in a commercial role within a large luxury hotel.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals
  • Professional image and excellent presentation skills.
  • Communicates very well in English, both verbally and with written skills
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, positive thinker and ability to work unsupervised
  • Must have gained professional experience abroad.
