Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager - BU Manager. Our client is a multinational company operating in the mechanical industry with a strong focus on technological innovation.

Key activities:

  • Define, in collaboration with the Sales & MKTG Director Opening Solutions, the most effective strategies for the development and consolidation of markets.
  • Define product and price strategies and trade policy in accordance with the Company Management.
  • Identify and select key business opportunities.
  • Generating new business through various means of lead generation such as telephone prospecting, physical prospecting, existing client relationship development, etc
  • Managing the sales process from initial prospecting stage through the securing the order and ensuring successful implementation, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate and strengthen relationships with the distribution network to meet the sales targets, to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans.
  • Collect market information and requirements, monitor market and competition technology development to identity new potential customers and channels.
  • Establishes strong relationships with Key stakeholders.
  • Be the support for EMEA DAS initiatives.
  • Forecasting and reporting on sales activity.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry associations.
  • Ability to deliver/organize demos.
  • Pipeline management.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong sales and technical competences.
  • A hunter mentality, not a farmer - capability to prospect, establish and drive new business.
  • Solid communication skills, you know how to convince and negotiate, within a positive relationship with others.
  • Team player, you express and share ideas, in a constructive way.
  • Analytical & strategic thinking.
  • Experience with electronic access control, digital locks or home automation products preferred but not a must.
  • Minimum of 3/5 years in a sales or business development in a multinational environment.
  • Experience with CRM (Microsoft dynamics 365) .
  • Italian Mother tongue, minimum C1 level of English.
  • Educated in Engineering or Business Administration / Marketing preferred, or similar through experience.
