Responsibilities

 

  • Operational Management: Oversee the end-to-end operations of global AP and AR teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across processes.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 30 people, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Governance: Map, analyze, and optimize existing AP and AR processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Strategic & Project Support: Actively support the analysis, design, and implementation of the new Target Operating Model (TOM) for the finance function.
  • Compliance & Control: Ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) principles at a high level (e.g., segregation of duties, revenue recognition, procurement controls). Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage effectively with key stakeholders across various business functions (Procurement, Treasury, Service Lines, Local Entities) to address issues and align processes.
  • System Implementation: Participate in and/or lead the implementation of new tools and systems (RPA, ERP migration).

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in finance/accounting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management of medium-to-large teams within international environments and/or shared service centers.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and, preferably, a basic understanding of US GAAP.
  • Previous experience managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance frameworks and related internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) and/or automation projects (RPA) is a strong plus.
  • Resilience and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Empathetic and inclusive leadership style with strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a strong orientation toward continuous process improvement.
  • Excellent command of English.
