Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Global Consumer and Market Insights, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive consumer and market research programs. Your insights will be pivotal in shaping strategic decisions, brand building, and product innovation across our client's Consumer Business division on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth:
- Drive long-term profitable growth through superior consumer, market, and dental professional insights.
- Support global brand strategies by providing actionable consumer insights.
- Serve as the key advisor for strategic decision-making, ensuring decisions are backed by robust consumer data.
Industry & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics to inform strategic initiatives.
- Monitor competitors to anticipate market impacts and identify potential challenges.
- Uncover unmet consumer needs to align with brand equity and innovation strategies.
Research Leadership:
- Develop and implement global research strategies to support business goals.
- Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative studies, including consumer segmentation, concept testing, brand health tracking, and market trend analysis.
- Support regional teams in EMEA and Americas with research needs, ensuring methodology validation and high-quality outcomes.
- Manage relationships with external research partners and agencies for effective and timely delivery of insights.
Insight Generation:
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives to influence business strategies.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the oral care market to guide innovation.
Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, digital, and R&D teams to integrate consumer insights into business strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance on consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Advise senior leadership with insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
Performance Measurement:
- Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking the impact of consumer insights on business performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular reports to senior management.
- Continuously improve research methodologies and processes to enhance insight quality and relevance.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer and market insights, ideally within oral care, FMCG, or healthcare industries.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale research projects and delivering impactful insights.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in research tools and software.
