The Candidate will join the Performance Improvement Practice, CFO Services.

• Lead finance transformation and CFO advisory engagements, driving sustainable EBITDA improvement, cash flow enhancement, working capital optimization, and finance function effectiveness.

• Advise clients on finance performance improvement initiatives, including FP&A transformation, management reporting enhancement, budgeting and forecasting processes, cost transparency, and finance operating model redesign.

• Design and implement finance operating models and processes.

• Lead business planning, financial performance management, and enterprise-wide planning transformations, including KPI frameworks, dashboard development, and decision-support capabilities.

• Manage finance due diligence, finance function assessments, and performance improvement reviews for corporate and private equity clients across buy side and sell side transactions.

• Lead finance workstreams in carve-outs, post-merger integrations, and separation programmes, supporting portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

• Support value creation programmes by identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, working capital, cash management, reporting quality, governance, and overall financial performance.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, private equity investors, and senior executives, while identifying new business opportunities and supporting the growth of the CFO Services practice.

• Contribute to the continuous development of methodologies, intellectual capital, and finance transformation offerings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Significant experience in a top-tier management consulting firm, transaction advisory practice, CFO advisory, or finance transformation environment.

• Proven track record leading complex finance transformation, CFO advisory, performance improvement, or finance integration/separation engagements.

• Strong understanding of finance functions and processes, including FP&A, Controlling, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Working Capital Management, and Finance Operating Models.

• Experience supporting private equity portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, value creation, carve-outs, post-merger integrations, and exit readiness.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and senior client relationships.

• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to identify business development opportunities and contribute to practice growth.

• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and international consulting environment.

• Fluent in English.

Salary Range: Base 120.000 € - 150.000 €
