Responsibilities
:

 

  • Lead the implementation of key field HR initiatives around culture, engagement and HR processes. Facilitate adherence to HR policy, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion where appropriate;
  • Formulate and develop HR strategies, policies and procedures from a national perspective. Take the lead in implementation;
  • Support organisation design, people development and change management focusing on the development and implementation of activities within the business strategy;
  • Support the talent management processes in the field, including the performance review process, succession planning, leadership assessments and the development and internal movement of talents. Drive and facilitate the identification of high potential talent and build a strategic plan to support business growth;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of training and development programmes;
  • Cooperate with external consultancy firms. Optimise investment (best use of public funds);
  • Analyse current trends, culture survey data, policies and reports to make recommendations for workplace improvements. Gather and analyse HR and customer feedback and diagnose business and people issues to work with local management to develop and implement solutions;
  • Address all employee relations issues and concerns by working with internal partners and senior leaders to find solutions;
  • Must be experienced with internal investigatory processes and how to ensure outcomes are fair, consistent, and compliant with company policies and applicable laws and regulations;
  • Acting as a mediator - Solicit and listen to stakeholder concerns and take an active role in resolving issues;
  • Maintain contact with the works council and trade union representatives in the country;
  • Lead Labour Relations where required. Provide advice and support to managers on HR issues and applicable company policies and employment laws;
  • Staffing/recruiting position within Italy, in cooperation with external suppliers (if necessary), ensuring that the best talent is recruited and that the necessary integration plan is organised for them;
  • Understand the company's reports and be able to analyse them effectively in order to make timely recommendations to reduce risks or positively influence the company or its associates;
  • Provides information, or facilitates partners' ability to obtain information, about benefits, compensation and training;
  • Manage the annual salary review process;
  • Stay informed of the social legislation, trends, and developments on HR discipline in Italy.

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Italian mother tongue and English fluent. Knowledge of other languages is nice to have (French);
  • 5 to 10 years of HR Business Partner experience supporting multiple locations and remote teams;
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Administration, or another related field required;
  • People-oriented and results-driven;
  • Proven expertise in talent management, workforce planning, change management, organizational development, and other strategic people initiatives;
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact. Ability to quickly learn new skills, systems, and procedures – adaptable;
  • Experience with creating lasting change using intentional organizational design and development practices;
  • Full knowledge of the legal implications of the employment relationship;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to handle stressful situations calmly;
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and utilize data to influence business decisions;
  • Understands where the data sits and how to combine it to support actions and decisions;
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices;
  • Excellent project management skills. Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Superior customer service orientation, rigorous, responsive and great sense of confidentiality;
  • Ethics and Compliance must be part of its DNA;
  • Able to manage projects and execute on action plans;
  • Commitment to deliver high-quality work results regardless of work complexity;
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships both internally and externally;
  • Ability to accurately analyze and diagnose situations to recommend the best path forward; advocates for action to proactively address issues;
  • Takes a positive approach despite obstacles;

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems;

 

 

Location: Milan but frequent travel to Roma, travel to other location in Italy and Europe as per specific need.

 

Salary: 50.000 € / 70.000 €
