The Role

We are looking for Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager who’ll focus on three key areas: environmental/sustainability management, legal compliance, and effective communication strategies. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's commitment to environmental responsibility, ensuring legal compliance, and enhancing internal and external communication efforts.



Main Tasks and Responsibilities



Legal / Compliance:

  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the organization's compliance in all aspects of its operations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business activities and decisions.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures that align with legal requirements.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and submissions required for legal compliance, certifications, and permits.


. Environmental / Sustainability Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reducing waste, conserving resources, and implementing eco-friendly practices.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulations related to environmental sustainability and propose proactive measures to align with best practices.
  • Manage environmental audits (in case available) and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with environmental organizations, regulators, and stakeholders to stay informed about advancements and challenges in the field.



  • Work closely with HR and leadership to ensure that the organization's internal branding aligns with its values, vision, and mission, fostering a strong sense of unity and purpose among employees.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to convey the organization's environmental/sustainability efforts, legal compliance initiatives, and internal branding messages to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to create engaging content that not only highlights the organization's commitment to environmental responsibility but also reinforces its internal brand values and culture.
  • Manage internal communication channels to ensure clear dissemination of internal branding initiatives as well as  environmental/sustainability and legal matters.







    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Law, Communication, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
    • Proven track record of 8+ years of experience in roles involving environmental/sustainability management, legal compliance, communication, and internal branding.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, regulations, and industry standards
    • Experience in assessing legal risks and developing compliance strategies.
    • Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, laws, and standards
    • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
    • Ability to conduct environmental audits (if necessary), assessments, and impact evaluations.
    • Proficiency in identifying opportunities for waste reduction, resource conservation, and eco-friendly practices.
    • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. CSR) and certifications
