Core responsabilities:
- Supports the definition and monitors the implementation of the ICT Strategic Plan (KPIs, SAL, Risks) to ensure alignment between enterprise goals and IT’s long-term direction.
- Drives IT Value Management by facilitating the development of business cases and the collection of real business benefits and outcomes to demonstrate the tangible value of IT investments.
- Leads IT Marketing and Communication to position the value of IT within the enterprise and proactively communicate the impact of IT initiatives to external stakeholders.
- Owns ICT Portfolio Management, providing transparency into the total portfolio of investment to enable decision-makers to prioritize demand based on strategic objectives and constraints.
- Gather and analyze project- and portfolio-level data to track and forecast future performance, ensuring the correct and timely execution of department activities.
- Ensures the correct allocation of ICT resources to support the project portfolio, maximizing resource use through precise sharing according to priorities and competencies.
- Coordinates the ICT budget process and consolidates periodic forecasts, acting as the primary liaison with the FCA department.
- Performs extended IT Financial Management duties, including IT cost allocation and analysis (e.g., IT unit costs) to provide full transparency into IT spending.
- Supports IT Performance Management managing IT performance KPIs and Dashboards
- Conducts the continuous analysis and improvement of the IT operating model, defining the ways of working, role structures, and principles required to deliver against the strategy.
- Supports and develops sourcing strategies by planning engagement and renewal processes based on needs and deadlines
- Develops and promotes the adoption of contractual models, applying deep skills in SaaS and AI contracting to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Leads Strategic Vendor Management, analyzing future procurement needs and managing relationships to ensure strategic collaborators are aligned with goals and vendor performance is optimized.
- Supervises ICT asset management processes, ensuring inventory availability and necessary management information.
- Orchestrates governance mechanisms to ensure decisions are made in accordance with the internal control model, D. Lgs. 231/01, and codes of conduct.
- Manages IT Audit and Compliance, including the regulatory themes specific to the pharmaceutical industry, and provides risk management for effective business outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with legal obligations regarding safety, hygiene at work, and environmental protection.
- In cooperation with the HR function, supports programs for digital and AI upskilling for the business (non-IT) to build future-ready capabilities.
- Partners with IT leaders to define the foundational skills needed for success and ensures that personnel competencies are aligned with the strategic workforce plan.
Competencies:
- A minimum of 10 years in top-tier management consulting, specializing in IT Strategy or Digital Strategy design, with a proven track record in leading large-scale IT Portfolio and Program Management and IT Governance engagements, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry and including experience in IT sourcing strategies.
- Extensive experience in IT Governance offices or the Office of the CIO (OCIO) within large or medium-sized enterprises, having successfully managed cross-functional responsibilities such as IT Strategic Planning, IT Financial Management, and Project Portfolio oversight to drive operational discipline and business alignmen.
Location: Milan (IT).
Compensation: Starting from € 90.000 RAL + performance-based bonus.
