Our client is seeking to recruit a Geneva-based Relationship Manager or Team to cover the following markets: Swiss onshore or Europe or LATAM or Middle East. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing a book of clients and driving new client acquisition through a broad knowledge of managed investment solutions and advisory services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and grow a book of HNW & UHNW clients.
  • Monitor portfolios and provide performance reviews.
  • Provide personalized advice and offer tailor-made solutions services to customers.
  • Maintain and enhance profitability and product management.
  • Continuous updating and analysis of financial markets in order to propose and develop appropriate solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Bank’s value proposition.
  • Work in cooperation with our Asset Management, Advisory and Credit service’s teams.
  • Be a "key-player" in the growth of the target market by upholding proper and ethical behavior.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify business opportunities and incorporate gained information into the sales plan.
  • Lead or assist in ad hoc projects when necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with the regulatory requirements.
  • Always consider the reputation of the bank and the Group through positive interactions and compliance with policies and processes.

 

About You

 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ wealth management experience with proven knowledge of business development.
  • In-depth experience in one or several markets in Europe (including Central and Eastern Europe, and Switzerland) or LATAM or Middle East.
  • Capacity to develop client relationships. Ability to demonstrate negotiating skills.
  • An entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
  • SAQ certification compulsory or to be done.
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Banking and Finance or a post-graduate degree such as a Master’s, CFA, CIIA or MBA would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to, asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, advisory accounts, portfolio reviews as well at the concept of basic trust and investment vehicles.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Fluent English or French compulsory; other languages would be a plus.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
