Infrastructure Systems Delivery Manager

Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle & Top Management profiles, is currently looking for an Infrastructure Systems Delivery Manager for an Italian multinational company, leader in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of IT projects, managing key suppliers, and ensuring exceptional service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key infrastructure vendors and service providers, managing contracts and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to achieve optimal performance.
- Implement and oversee IT service management processes, ensuring seamless service delivery to internal stakeholders.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT infrastructure operations.
- Champion and drive technical innovation within the infrastructure environment, exploring and implementing new technologies to optimize efficiency and security.
- Work collaboratively with the cyber security team to assess vulnerabilities, develop remediation plans, and ensure their successful implementation.
- Support the company's multi-cloud migration journey with particular focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure environment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the infrastructure team, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- About 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure Project Management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred).
- Strong knowledge of one of more of the following platforms: Microsoft 365 and MS operating systems, Unix/Linux and other cloud platforms such as AWS or Gcloud.
- Experience in Identity Management and system integrations.
- Experience in managing vendors and service providers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with concurrent priorities.
